- Creating electrical control systems from the ground up and modifying existing designs using specialised software. Proficiency in generating detailed drawings aligned with functional design specifications
- Understanding what clients need, turning that into plans, and creating a robust and efficient system solutions
- Create testing plans, oversee setup and testing phases (FAT & SAT), generate necessary documentation, and ensure a smooth handover of the system from development to operation.
- Create PLC and HMI software for control systems from the beginning and make changes or improvements to existing system software according to technical specifications.
- Make standard software and graphical interface modules for all products and equipment.
Control Systems Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications - Experience in designing electrical systems in an industrial/special purpose machinery environment.
- 18th edition (17th Edition considered).
- Electrical, electronics, or mechatronics engineering qualification, HNC as a minimum or equivalent.
- Competent using Siemens TIA
