Pay Scale: Grade 6 (Point 9) - £25,119 pro rata
Contract Terms: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, term time only plus five inset days
Start date: As soon as possible
We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic individual with strong communication, organisational and administrative skills to the position of Personal Assistant to the Head Teacher with the added responsibility for the schools attendance. We are a vibrant, forward-looking school with a great team of happy, supportive and friendly staff and wonderful pupils.
You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to build effective relationships with the different teams within the school. You will need to manage your workload effectively and work to deadlines whilst retaining a sense of humour and giving priority to the needs of the children and the school as a whole. Previous experience of working in a school environment will be a significant advantage.
Manor Field is a large primary school on the outskirts of Burgess Hill with approximately 500 pupils on roll and less than a 5 minute walk from Wivelsfield Station. We enjoy all of the benefits of a large school including team working, a spacious building and excellent outdoor facilities.
