Job description
We are recruiting for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader in Wickford . This is a permanent job paying 29250.00 per year plus overtime comes with 21 days holiday enrolment into their pension scheme and employee retail discount package.
As a member of the Landscape Maintenance Team you will be:
Maintaining show areas show home gardens and standard plot gardens on new build housing sites across the area during the growing season.
Helping the landscaping team with turfing and planting on show areas show home gardens and standard plot gardens during the nongrowing season.
Leading a small maintenance team with responsibility for driving them to and from allocated sites daily.
Key Detail:
Working days are Monday to Friday.
There is the opportunity for overtime and that is offered as it is available.
A full driving licence is needed.
A CSCS card would be useful but is not essential.
To be considered as a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader you will need:
Experience of landscape garden or grounds maintenance with experience of leading a team.
Your driving licence.
Your PA1 and PA6 spraying tickets.
Be reliable and hard working with an eye for detail.
To be used to and enjoy maintaining gardens and green spaces to a high standard.
Experience of maintaining gardens and open areas on new build housing sites.
In return you will be earning 29250.00 per year plus overtime be directly employed by the landscaping company and paid monthly will be enrolled into their company pensions scheme be entitled to 21 days holiday plus all bank holidays have your uniform provided and have the opportunity for promotion through to Team Leader level.
