Job description
As a Head of Environment, you will shape & plan Entain’s Net Zero by 2035 Environment strategy and programmes and initiatives & then manage project delivery either directly or via the Health, Safety and Environment teams. Reporting to Group Head of Heath, Safety and Environment, you will be part of the Property and Facilities team, sub family, Health, Safety and Environment.

What you will do
- Fostering an inclusive, collaborative Environment culture and setting and monitoring clear measurable objectives and targets, which are visible and meaningful to all colleagues.
- Promoting ownership of Environment at all levels, and promoting environment, safety, health, and wellbeing, to deliver an incident and injury free environment at Entain.
- Lead teams to deliver on the Net Zero by 2035 strategy, engaging and collaborating with the Divisions and Functions.
- Communicating a consistent message to all Entain colleagues, business partners and suppliers to help them understand their Environment responsibilities.
- Leading the delivery of the “Net Zero by 2035 Environment” Change programme.
- Presenting information and advice to the relevant Directors and the on-risk assessment outcomes and matters relating to Environment performance.
- Supporting policies, audits and reporting of Key Environment Metrics
- Overseeing robust Environment management systems
- Establishing common standards across the group business; working with the Business Assurance team to incorporate Environment and risk management into decision making.
- Developing a structured management audit protocol; conducting on-site safety audits, risk assessment and inspections of Entain operations and facilities.
- Ensure appropriate reporting is submitted to Governance processes as required.
- Present clear targeted communications to all key stakeholders, to support business readiness and promote engagement.
Who you are
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Proven team leadership experience.
- Commercial understanding/acumen of business KPIs.
- Experience producing business cases which focus on customer experience and commercial drivers.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.
- Excellent presentation skills.
