A wonderful opportunity has arisen to work for a prestigious employer as a Nursing Home Manager based in the North Birmingham area. The home is a state-of-the-art facility which offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which both residents and staff can thrive. This is a medium/large sized service that is currently being run at an excellent level with a fantastic reputation within the area. The service caters for the needs of residents with dementia and other age-related health issues.
My client is seeking an experienced manager who has exceptional leadership skills and who loves to make a difference to the lives of those in their care.

The role of Nursing Home Manager: • You will be responsible for the day to day management of the home ensuring that targets are achieved whist providing the highest standards of care.
• Knowledge of budgeting, marketing and resource management is an essential requirement.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Skills and Experience for the role of Nursing Home Manager: • My client seeks someone that is prepared to push themselves, has a professional and friendly demeanour and who takes pride in their work.
• Currently registered RMN/RGN
• Relevant experience working in a clinical management role
• Management or deputy management experience of a medium sized care home
• Comprehensive understanding of quality, governance issues and care standards
• Computer literate, word processing spreadsheet and database skills.
