Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced associate solicitor to assist with a caseload of Multi-Track Catastrophic Injury files. The successful candidate will be working within a newly established and busy claimant litigation team. Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage your own caseload, including multi-track and lower-value cases as needed.
  2. Provide assistance to more senior fee earners in handling high-value and catastrophic injury cases.
  3. Delegate tasks, supervise work, and provide constructive feedback to paralegals and trainees when necessary.
  4. Deliver excellent service to clients, consistently aligning with our core values and commitment to Client First Service.
  5. Maintain a high level of competence and legal knowledge, actively participating in training and development activities as required.
  6. Ensure accuracy and up-to-date information within the case management system.
  7. Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to current procedures related to case management.
  8. Proactively resolve and negotiate solutions to clients issues.
  9. Participate in Business Development activities and contribute to building the firms reputation in the external marketplace.
  10. Build and cultivate professional networks and relationships within the local region.
