Job description
The Recruitment Co. is urgently recruiting a Tooling and Process Technician to join our clients growing team based in the Fforestfach area.
Hours of work: Full time Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm.
Salary: Up to £32.000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Attend tooling and machine breakdowns, minimising availability losses and ensuring processes are running at optimum levels.
- Repair and maintenance of press tools and fixturing to achieve and maintain a quality product.
- Manufacture basic press tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Process and procedural improvements.
- Identify and realise CI and cost down opportunities. Use RCA tools to understand and resolve technical issues.
- Quality improvement activities utilising statistical process capability data.
- Collaborate and support NPI activities.
