Hours: Continental Nightshift 19:00-07:00

The Role
Almac Pharma Services manufacture and package drugs and medicines, and develop new drug product formulations from our state-of-the-art, custom designed facilities. Our Maintenance Engineering Team are responsible for planning, executing, and ensuring all planned and unplanned maintenance operations within our facility are carried out efficiently and on time.
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) to join our highly skilled team.
Working within our busy Laxido Operations Department, the Maintenance Engineer must work to engineering best practice standards and be compliant with cGMP. Daily responsibilities will include planned and unplanned maintenance, supporting the installation and commissioning of new process equipment, maintaining stock levels of replacement parts, completing documentation and maintenance reports, and working with production staff to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly.
Ideal candidates will hold a minimum of City & Guilds Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Installation, or a relevant equivalent level qualification.
You will also need relevant post-apprenticeship practical experience in industrial maintenance to include installation of production equipment and planned and unplanned maintenance of plant and production equipment.
Previous maintenance experience within the food or pharmaceutical industry, and packaging and sealing equipment would be beneficial.
