About Our Client
My client are a fast-growing consultancy firm, based in West End, London. Their lean and dynamic finance team are looking to expand to reflect the companies new growth and will welcome an experience management accountant or finance manager, who is looking to take the role by the reins and help drive the finance function and company forward.
Job Description
The Finance Manager's responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the Accounts Assistant (handling day-to-day processing/admin)
- Reviewing and approving sales invoices and payment runs
- Reviewing and following-up of aged debtors & receipts
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Reviewing and updating sales tracker report
- Monthly P&L and balance sheet reviews and reconciliation
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Preparing budget/forecast
- Prepare monthly income report
- Supporting Finance Director with any ad hoc reporting
The Successful Applicant
The successful Finance Manager is:
- Part-qualified/finalist ACCA/CIMA/ACA/QBE or equivalent
- Experienced in preparing monthly management accounts and managing/supervising a team member
- Able to demonstrate strong excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, sumifs+)
- Able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to demonstrate previous process improvement or implementation
- Experienced in Xero (desirable)
- Excited to drive a growing business forward, demonstrating interest/experience in implementing new processes/systems
