Head of Public Fundraising
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Public Fundraising to spearhead the organisations mission to transform the lives of vulnerable children and families across the UK.

Location: Home based
Salary: £44,726 to £51,718 per annum
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

You will be working for one of the UK's leading children's charities, firmly supported by Christian beliefs and values, helping to support disadvantaged children and their families through delivering projects to support children, young people, their families and communities to find long-lasting solutions to the challenges they face.
The Role
The Partnership and Development Team is dedicated to fostering relationships and securing resources to support the mission of empowering vulnerable children and families. Through strategic fundraising efforts, they ensure sustainable funding streams that enable the charity to deliver vital services and create lasting impact in communities across the country. From cultivating donor relationships to organising fundraising campaigns, this dynamic team plays a crucial role in driving the organisation's growth and fulfilling the commitment to those it serves.
Working hand in hand with the Director of Partnerships and Development and the leadership team, you'll
- Ignite a culture of excellence and drive strategic fundraising initiatives to create real, lasting impact.
- Wear many hats, from providing crucial internal-facing fundraising support to leading cutting-edge digital and community-based fundraising endeavours.
- Be at the forefront of innovative campaign-based fundraising initiatives, leveraging your expertise to maximise fundraising potential.
But that's not all - you'll also be the linchpin between the fundraising and marketing teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment of efforts. Leading a passionate and high-performing fundraising team, you'll craft and execute integrated campaigns, harnessing the power of community fundraising and grants and trusts strategies to exceed targets and propel our mission forward.
About You
You'll lead the dynamic fundraising team with confidence and expertise and your extensive experience in fundraising, partnership management, and business development will be the driving force behind the ambitious fundraising targets.
With a proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding targets, orchestrating fundraising events, and nurturing key relationships, you'll be instrumental in advancing this mission. Your leadership skills will inspire and motivate the team, while your strategic vision will shape the fundraising strategy for the future.
As a collaborative and goal-oriented individual, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, where creativity and innovation are encouraged. Your analytical approach to problem-solving and your knack for building strong stakeholder relationships will be essential as you navigate the complexities of the fundraising landscape.
