About The Role
You'll ensure the provision of a high standard of food quality, preparing, cooking and presenting food to the highest standards in a clean, tidy and safe environment.
You will be working on any 5 over 7 days, on a permanent full-time basis, 06:30 to 19:30, 40 hours per week.
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification - e.g. Food Hygiene Certificate
- Diploma in Professional Cookery minimum Level 2 - e.g. C&G 706/2
- Previous experience in contract catering
- Flair and imagination as a chef
- Good communication skill is essential
- A good understanding of cost control
- Preparing, cooking and serving food at a busy customer site
- Good team-working skills with a flexible approach to work, good communication and strong leadership skills
- You'll also supervise a small team of staff and be responsible for meeting budgets and managing cash
