Are you working as a Cover Supervisor as a Perm Role but looking for something more flexible?

Academics are seeking Cover Supervisors for some of our secondary school, especially in the Thanet Area! There is an ever increasing demand to cover absent teachers, so the amount of work available for yourself is brilliant. We have day-to-day, long term and permanent roles available which can be offered to the successful applicants on both a part and a full time basis.

What is a Cover Supervisor?

Well able individuals who have the ability to successful support students carrying out pre-prepared exercises when the teacher is absent. Their main job is to manage the classroom ensure the pupils remain on task and complete the work required of them.

Qualities required to be a great Cover Supervisor-

* Exemplary communication skills and ability to variate communication styles
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Flexibility
* Enjoy working in a school environment around the pupils and staff
* Passion for Education
* Charisma

This role can include:

* Managing Pupil Behaviour and implement the school’s behaviour policy when required
* Being Flexible and able to provide Cover over multiple year groups and subjects
* Keeping students on task to complete work
* Be able to provide 1:1 support and answer questions about processes and procedures in line with the school policy.
