Equine Surgeon looking for something different over a short-term commitment?

Western Counties Equine Hospital are currently looking for an Equine Surgeon to cover a 6-month maternity leave.

Nestled in rural Devon in a peaceful, tranquil environment yet easily accessible being only 10-minute drive from Junctions 26 and 27 of the M5.

We are an RCVS accredited equine hospital, with facilities second to none in the Westcountry and since opening we have invested in a continued program of development and improvements.

We have a young, progressive friendly team committed to offering the highest standards of clinical care.

We receive a wide range of elective and emergency surgery cases referred from across the South West as well as a significant lameness / poor performance caseload.

The role:

• 1-2 days per week
• 6-month contract
• 1:4 weekend rota
• Good salary dependant on qualification and experience
• ASAP Start date

The Person:

• DipECVS/ACVS 
• Applicant who has completed a surgical residency, competent in sole charge emergency surgery
• The applicant should be eligible for registration with the RCVS
