Job description
We require individuals to support our plant yard in Burscough in the preparation, repairs and scheduled maintenance of mechanical plant equipment (Volvo, Caterpillar and Liebherr based machinery).
The individuals will be based out of our Burscough Yard and will be required to attend sites throughout the UK.
A van will be provided, and work will need to be undertaken within the companies’ procedures and policies, ensuring that the work is carried in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
A basic salary of £42,000.00 to £46,000.00 pa (depending on experience) will be provided for a 45-hour week, with overtime being paid for additional time worked.

Individuals must have a valid CSCS card and proven experience of maintaining construction plant and equipment (piling equipment experience preferred, but not essential). The individual must be competent at fault finding. The individual will be required to use their own initiative and judgement in the role. They must know when to refer issues to the site supervisor. They will be both focussed and thorough and have the credibility to advise senior management when something needs immediate redress. They should have a conscientious and caring attitude towards their work and fellow workmates.
