The Digital Marketing Executive will safeguard and grow the digital impact of our company, growing our reach, building credibility, and improving our employer brand through active, engaging, social content and managing our website.
While this role doesn’t require a permanent office base, we do recommend whoever comes into this role to build strong interpersonal relationships with other departments to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the business. Sometimes this is easiest when meeting people face to face.
Responsibilities
- Work with our internal comms teams to showcase our projects to employees across the business.
- Carry out weekly and monthly social reporting and analysis, using these to support a continuous improvement in the quality and performance of our digital activities.
- Maintain clear lines of communication with internal sales, projects, and tech development departments to identify exciting new projects that we can maximise for our marketing activities.
- Actively monitor our customer and competitor feeds to inform and act on new developments and trends.
- Manage the digital advertising budget and proactively manage our ad sets.
- Create engaging, forward-thinking content to showcase our strengths and drive social engagement.
- Develop and deliver a clear ongoing Social Media Strategy for Hutchison Technologies and its sister companies FITBOX, Evoson, and Earth + Sky, in line with company objectives.
- Define the target channels and content types, as well as planned timelines and posting schedules.
- Carry out proactive SEO and keyword research to support content performance.
- Proactively engage our partners, clients, and other industry leaders to encourage cross channel marketing and grow our reach.
- Support on lead generating campaigns and events, to help drive leads for the sales team.
- Write engaging blogs, landing pages, and case studies, translating our complex solutions into something that is easily understood by any reader, and is in-line with modern SEO practices.
- Create regular email campaigns to support our customer communications, and lead generation campaigns.
Requirements
- Demonstrates previous strategy and planning work.
- Familiarity with a CRM software and social scheduling tools, like Hubspot
- Adobe Creative Cloud literacy
- Strong understanding of Google and Meta ads, and paid advertising practices.
- 2 years experience working in a B2B marketing department.
- Strong literacy in Google Analytics and other digital monitoring tools.
- Copywriting skills
- Up-to-date understanding of best practices in digital marketing and social media marketing.
- Comfortable managing third-parties to deliver best results.
Desirable
- Interest in AV, lighting, access control, networking & connectivity, and customer journeys.
- Understands digital trends, and how to leverage them to the advantage of our business.
- Organised individual.
- A strong, independent work ethic with an eye for detail.
- Literate in videography, photography, and a good eye for graphic design.
- Passion trying new things, and measuring success to finetune output.
- A desire to continuously learn and improve knowledge and skillsets.
