What you'll be doing:
This multifaceted role requires a range of skills and experience providing management accounts, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, forecasts, budgets and long term planning for the business partners and business area managers for multiple sites (Brownhills, Stewartby and Hull with travel to one of these on a regular basis).
The role will involve:
- Analytical Review
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Stock accounting and Control
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Audit Queries
What we're looking for:
The role holder will have the commercial knowledge necessary to ensure that business performance is optimised, management information and controls are developed and use sufficient influence to support business decision making and future development across IWE (Industrial, Water and Energy) and also have the following:
- Financial systems experience. Workday and Adaptive Planning would be an advantage
- Business partnering and interpersonal skills to work with the wider business
- Google Office applications and advanced Excel experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible self-motivated approach to daily tasks, and 'ad-hoc' duties
- Ability to work alone as well as with various teams to strict deadlines
- A keen eye for the required detail to ensure accuracy of all financial transactions
- Working towards a recognised accountancy qualification (i.e CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
