Job description
Wayman Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced and dedicated Art Teacher to join an outstanding school located in Enfield, starting in April. As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality art education to primary and secondary students, fostering their creativity and helping them develop their artistic skills.

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging art lessons that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of students at various skill levels.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to express themselves creatively.
- Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them improve their artistic techniques and develop their own unique style.
- Plan and organize art exhibitions or showcases to celebrate students' accomplishments and promote their work within the school community.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to integrate art into cross-curricular projects and initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in art education, incorporating new techniques and technologies into your teaching.
- Evaluate and assess students' artwork, providing clear and timely feedback to support their growth and progress.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- A degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching art to primary and/or secondary students.
- Strong knowledge of the art curriculum and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different age groups and skill levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Creativity and passion for art, with the ability to inspire and motivate students to explore and experiment with different artistic styles and techniques.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and prepare engaging art lessons.
