Role

As part of the research and development arm within OQC, you’ll get to work with a variety of teams - Lab/Cleanroom Technicians, Fabrication Engineers, and other Quantum Engineers on cutting edge research projects.

You’ll be expected to help with the specification and bring-up of new cryogenic systems to carry out research on our current systems and develop new ideas as we scale our quantum computers. The team routinely works on RF wiring of cryogenic components and room temperature components, the characterisation of qubits in both continuous-wave and pulsed operation as well as carrying out measurement work for the RnD team as OQC build towards larger scale quantum computing platforms.

Skills + experience

Research has shown that women are less likely than men to apply for this role if they do not have solid experience in 100% of these areas. Please know that this list is indicative and that we would still love to hear from you even if you feel you only are a 75% match. Skills can be learnt, diversity cannot.
