**Female Carer Job Share Whittlesford, (CB22)**
** £14 per hour **
Hours: Up to 35 hours per week and potential for future full-time occupation

Carer required for a young and fun lady in need of a Support Worker and more importantly a friend. Car driver essential to help me get around. I am a 28 year old woman with learning disabilities, epilepsy and complex health needs. I live at home with my parents. I require constant support to help keepme safe and live an active, full life. I am at my best around happy, caring, people who also want to do interesting things. At present I have a team of two carers, and I am looking for a third member to join this wonderful team.
Hours may vary a little every week to week but mainly involve working with me on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and alternate Saturdays. The team are very friendly and flexible and cover for each other, including holiday and sick cover.
The job includes full support with basic needs, planning fun days out, cooking healthy and delicious meals, basic housekeeping- washing, ironing, tidying and food shopping and most importantly building a genuine friendship with me.
Ideally you will be happy to be involved in swimming, walking, cycling, cooking, music therapy, horse riding and yoga (amongst other things) as these are some of my favourite activities. You will be trustworthy and honest, kind and caring, reliable and flexible, fun and energetic and offer complete dignity with all aspects of car. Experience with additional needs is desirable but not essential, full training and shadow days will be provided. Any offers are subject to a DBS check, receipt of two references, and checking the legal right to live and work in the UK As some personal care is involved, I would feel more comfortable with a female carer.
