Job description

Cover Teacher (Without QTS)

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Start date: ASAP.

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a Cover Teacher to start at a vibrant Secondary school based in Stoke-on-Trent. This will be a fully flexible, long term role running to the end of the academic year, paying a minimum of £90 per day. The ideal teacher will confident covering classes of up to 25 children, delivering a pre-planned lesson.

About The School:
- A large secondary school
- Lessons taught at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4
- Supportive team and a strong leader
- Department with a collaborative approach to planning, delivery, and assessment

The ideal Cover Teacher will:
- Be confident with delivering GCSE sessions
- Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
- Have good behaviour management skills

The successful Teacher will have the following:
- UK classroom experience
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Be able to provide 2 professional references
- A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
