Job description

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Redruth, Cornwall Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 - 2.30 (1pm finish on Friday) Start Date: ASAP About the role: - Provide 1:1 support to a year 8 child with an EHCP - Assist with regular movement breaks to support the child's learning and development - Collaborate with the SENCO and teaching staff to create a supportive environment for the child - Monitor and track the child's progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and parents Requirements: - Experience working with children with SEMH (desirable) - Understanding of EHCPs and how to implement support strategies - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced SEN environment Qualifications: - Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable) - Relevant experience working in a SEN setting - Safeguarding training At Zen Educate, we understand the importance of work-life balance for teachers and teaching assistants.
