Job description
Our Leading Global Enterprise client is hiring skilled Solutions Architects to join their team and provide expert guidance to support individual projects, such as CEV. You will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that meet business and technical requirements, while aligning with overall enterprise architecture standards. Also working closely with the Solutions Architect Lead and cross-functional teams to analyse current systems and processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to meet business goals

Duration: 140 Days
Rate: £646 per day (please note, Employer NI is paid for by the client)
IR35 Status: Inside
Location: Hybrid/London or Edinburgh
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements and identify potential solutions across large account.
- Develop and maintain solution architecture artifacts, including diagrams, specifications, and models.
- Work with project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions are properly implemented and integrated with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Participate in Architectural Review Board reviews and provide technical guidance to other Solution Architects with authoring and reviewing designs.
- Ensure compliance with Customer architecture standards and policies with alignment to their documentation standards.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to Domain SME’s and Solution Architects from other disciplines.
- Continuously improve knowledge and skills in relevant areas of expertise.
- Work with planning on pre-review of migration bundles
- Attend the migration governance meetings
- Participate in Capacity Management process specifically relating to the delivery and execution readiness
- Assist KANBAN and backlog creation and tracking
- Preparation for delivery and execution
- Raise risks and issues with options to address and record on the MS Teams RAID board
- Any tasks assigned by TDA or Programme Leads.
- Performance Metrics
- Ensure all migration events are appropriately resourced
- Network sign-off on all bundles prior to Squad handover
- Raise Lessons Learned and Risk / Issues where required
- Acts as technical escalation point during Migration Event weekends.
- Attends Post Implementation Review (PIR) after migrations have been executed as technical SME.
- Leverage previous experience to bring forth best practices and solutions to the project team and contribute to enhancing existing methodologies
- Any tasks assigned by TDA or Programme Leads.
- Raise technical challenges in the appropriate forum.
- Ensure critical issues are escalated.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF
- Experience with cloud technologies, such as VMware Cloud Foundation, Dell Technologies such as VxRail and VxBlock.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools, such as JIRA is a plus.
- Experience in similar role.
