Job description
Our Client has a requirement for an Electrical Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Surrey.
Role Purpose:
Principal Electrical Engineer with demonstrable experience of designing large industrial power systems including high voltage systems.
Job Role Responsibilities:
Sizing and selection of high voltage equipment, Large Frequency converters, AC/ DC UPS systems etc.
Development of specifications and philosophies
Power Systems Studies (ETAP or equivalent).
Specification of 110kV GIS switchgear and shunt reactors
Interface with Client and Grid Company.
Technical assurance
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
This role will be working in the Oil & Gas sector across a range of Pre-FEED and FEED projects, so a good varied knowledge of Oil & Gas standards and projects would be highly desirable.
Chartered Status would be highly desirable.
