We’re now seeking a Market Analyst to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 36.3 hours per week.

The Role
As a Market Analyst, you will extract insights and trends from a range of economic, market, customer, and competitor data to inform and optimise our strategies.
Undertaking comprehensive market research, you will identify market opportunities, translating them into actionable insights to provide crucial recommendations that will help drive our marketing and sales activity.
You will also track and analyse the strategies, customer base, pricing and marketing tactics of our industry competitors, offering solutions to secure our advantage.
Additionally, you will:
- Use relevant data to establish an exhaustive understanding of market dynamics
- Evaluate key campaign performance
- Create and deliver reports and presentations to senior management
- Collaborate on the formulation of market forecasts
- Harness the capabilities of data analytics tools and software
- Design and develop methodologies to collect, maintain, manipulate and present data and insights
About You
To be considered as a Market Analyst, you will need:
- Proven experience in an analytical role
- Experience of working with data and insights
- Experience of effectively communicating and presenting to colleagues or peers
- Knowledge of business report generation and presentation
- Knowledge of the oil industry or a closely related sector
- Strong analysis and interpretation skills
- An undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field
