Breakfast and After School Playworker- Monday to Friday- Part Time- 22.5 hours per week- Term Time Only- £12.56 per hour

A lovely setting in SE27 are looking for a part time breakfast and after school play worker to assist them during term time, working 22.5 hours per week.

Candidate Requirements:

• Understanding the varied needs of children and their families
• Understanding the issues involved in the delivery of quality childcare
• Provide and facilitate safe and creative play
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and as a team member
• Sound judgement and common sense

Desirable qualities or Training will be given:

• Appropriate child protection training
• Understanding and promoting equal opportunities in a childcare setting
• Current 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate
• Food Hygiene Certificate
• An understanding of Prevent Duty and Certification.

Duties:

• To plan and deliver appropriate activities for children in the setting
• To deliver quality child care
• To create a safe and interesting environment
• To communicate with Parents on pick ups and drop offs
