We are looking for a Part time Cleaner to join us at Truro Crown Court.

Role - Cleaner (Basic DBS)

Rate of Pay - £10.42/hour

Location - Truro Crown Court, Courts of Justice, Edward St, Truro TR1 2PB, UK

Job Type: Part-time, initially for 3 months with the possibility of extension

Hours: Mon - Fri, 7 am - 9 am or 1:45 pm - 5:45 pm

Start Date - As soon as completing the documentation

Job Responsibilities and Essential Requirements:

• Basic DBS Required.
• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the court premises.
• Cleans floors and rooms, including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot-cleaning glass and windows.
• Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitising fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
• Vacuums, empties trash, and replaces liners.
• Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Monitors and maintains sanitation and organisation of assigned areas.
• Transports dirty linens to the correct area to be cleaned and restocks areas with clean linens.
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Performs additional duties as needed.
