About Our Client

Our client is a successful law firm based in Southampton who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their accountancy team.

Job Description

Management Accountant

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Monthly production of income recognition calculations for WIP/AROC
• Production of balance sheet account reconciliations
• Reconciliation of all control accounts on a regular basis
• Reconciliation of inter-company accounts on a monthly basis
• Monthly inter-company invoicing
• Variance analysis of people related costs and FTEs including reporting on resource deployment
• Work closely with the firm's Systems Accountant to maintain reporting models and programs
• Preparation of ad hoc performance statistics
• Assist with the preparation of monthly cash flow reports
• Produce variance analysis of cash flows
• Assist with funding applications as required project costing updated.

The Successful Applicant

Management Accountant:

The successful candidate will have management accounts experience and be CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified

Sage knowledge desirable
