Job description
The work is physically active and demanding, with a lot of bending, stretching and lifting, both inside or out, in varying weather conditions, and you mustn’t mind getting your hands dirty!
Good hand-to-eye co-ordination is essential. You should be a good organiser, planning and thinking ahead. You need an enquiring mind, and enjoy working with machinery. Instructions must be followed as well as safety rules and procedures. A willingness to travel is essential so a driving licence is preferred.
We are committed to Training and you can be sure of the best training available. You will attend Reaseheath College to achieve NVQ level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Land-Based Service Engineering Technician, with course fees and reasonable travel expenses paid by the Company.
The training is delivered on a block release basis.
In between the study periods, you will work in our Plant Yard, applying your new knowledge in a real ‘work environment’, and assessed on-site by the college and Menard.
