Main Duties and Responsibilities
Manage all bars at the Hotel to maximize guest satisfaction and profitability.
Serve bar guests promptly and courteously, process beverage orders, and recommend promotional items.
Train the staff in line with service standards and create training plans for all team members.
Manage HR tasks such as screening, interviewing, and selecting potential employees, identifying training needs, and evaluating employee performance.
Ensure health and safety standards are followed, and hazards are reduced immediately.
Participate in Responsible Business hotel and departmental activities and maintain awareness of environmental and social issues.

Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of bar inventory, wine selection, and beverage recipes and mixing procedures.
Ensure the bar is stocked, clean, and tidy at all times.
- Evaluate the bar menu and suggest improvements to the Food and Beverage Manager.
Train the staff in line with service standards and create training plans for all team members.
- Manage HR tasks such as screening, interviewing, and selecting potential employees, identifying training needs, and evaluating employee performance.
Foster effective employee relations within the department and other hotel departments.
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed, and hazards are reduced immediately.
Participate in Responsible Business hotel and departmental activities and maintain awareness of environmental and social issues.
- Attend meetings and training required by the Food and Beverage Manager.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bar Manager or a similar position.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate experience managing inventory and analysing budgets.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Desirable Skills
- Background in a busy hotel environment
