A thriving and outstanding independent prep school in West Sussex are searching for a Head of MFL for September 2024. This is a full time role covering maternity leave up to one year.
This independent prep school is an inspiring place to learn for children - there is a warm, caring atmosphere alongside an enrich curriculum, first class facilities and a friendly and collaborative staff room. Nevertheless, the Head is equally focused on delivering excellent pastoral care and developing the social, creative and emotional side of each pupil.
The Head is looking for a passionate linguist who will be responsible for ensuring that the provision of French and Spanish across the school is outstanding and everyone is engaged positively in learning and standards of progress are excellent. The successful candidate will be a committed and engaging classroom practitioner with experience of teaching French either at Common Entrance, GCSE or Senior level. The role will entail teaching French across KS2 and 3, including Common Entrance and Scholarship as well as some Spanish.
