Clinical Psychologist

Colchester

1 day per week, ideally 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm

£70 per hour

Are you an experienced Clinical Psychologist with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people in special school and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHs) units? Spencer Clarke Group are currently seeking a dedicated professional to join our client on a one day per week basis, providing crucial psychological support to individuals within the Colchester area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments for children and young people.
• Developing and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, healthcare professionals, and parents.
• Providing consultation and guidance to staff within special schools and CAMHs units.
• Contributing to the development and evaluation of therapeutic programs.

Requirements:

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• HCPC registration and chartered status with the British Psychological Society (BPS).
• Proven experience working within special schools or CAMHs units.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.
