Job description

Trainee in the window and door industry.
Would suit a young person with a driving licence that wants to have a career, after 2 years training, they will be able to obtain a recognised industry wide qualification.
The Company alongside installing new doors and windows carries out a lot of service and repair work for their many customers. Including all types of locks, hinges, panic hardware, door closing hardware, remote winding equipment and glazing repair. (Training will be given).
As a trainee you will be: -
Working with and handling various materials including
Aluminium, Steel, Wood, Glass, PVCU and Composite.
Be prepared to work at height if required.
Have the ability to lift reasonably heavy loads.
Have the ability to work in a team or on your own initiative.
Manual dexterity and proven practical abilities.
Have excellent customer services and attention to detail.
A full UK driving Licence will be required due to the nature of the work traveling mainly in Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas.
Training on the job will be given including attending health and safety and courses connected to the work. With A recognised industry qualification available after 2 years practical experience.
The successful candidate would need a full CRB check completed, as you will be required to work in a variety of sites from Police Stations, Elderly People’s Homes, Schools, Colleges, Universities and High-end Properties.
Working hours Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm, longer hours may be required, if so overtime will be paid.
