Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Agency Care Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Ipswich. The Agency Care Team Leader will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of exceptional care services to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of care staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality care services that meet the individual needs of clients
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with clients and their families
- Monitor and review care plans regularly to ensure effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary
- Coordinate staff schedules and assignments to ensure adequate coverage and continuity of care
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, best practices, and training opportunities
- Act as a point of contact for clients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records/documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and professionalism
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the care sector, with proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is required, Level 5 is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Sound understanding of care principles, CQC regulations, and best practices
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
