The IT Project Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, execution and co-ordination of IT projects under the guidance of senior and experienced Delivery Leads.
This role involves the facilitation and management of projects with different levels of complexity and learning the fundamentals of delivering successful larger scale IT projects.
The difference you'll make:
Managing and co-ordinating a broad set of projects predominantly focused on smaller Business led change, to address the evolving CIO domain and customer needs
Monitoring all project activities and timelines, reporting progress and identifying potential delays to allow for liaison with respective parties and provision of potential solutions
Collaborating with all stakeholders within the Infrastructure, Operations and End User Technology teams and the CIO domains to gather requirements, manage expectations and ensure smooth delivery
Creating and maintaining all required project documentation, including project plans, status reports and meeting minutes plus any other ad hoc needs
Maintaining a constant assessment of project risks, contributing to the development of mitigation strategies and ensuring the tracking and managing of RAID logs
Ensuring all project deliverables meet established quality standards by following quality control processes
What you'll bring:
Facilitation of clear communications among project team members and stakeholders
Data management and analytical capabilities for accurate and timely project reporting with the ability to extract meaning and detail from the information gathered
Strong technology knowledge and experience of how infrastructure and operations are the foundation of all business delivery and value realisation
Must have strong and demonstrable experience in 'Go-Live' readiness and implementation of IT projects
A keen adopter of new technology approaches with a focus on cloud-based models and solutions, with a thirst for development and learning
Must be able to demonstrate and articulate appropriate PM processes for example, the steps required for IT infrastructure decommissioning projects, amongst others
It would also be nice for you to have:
Degree gained in suitable field, such as technology engineering, business, finance or related disciplines
Experience of working in a tier one banking environment or equivalent financial services organisation

This role is based in Milton Keynes and our current expectation is at least 2 days in an office every week.

First Stage - Competency Interview - this will a one-hour virtual interview with two members of the team.
Second Stage - A one-hour formal interview where we will ask some technical questions. This will ideally be completed face to face depending on your situation.
