Job description
Located in Sidcup, an outstanding firm of chartered accountants is on the lookout for an Accounts Senior/ Senior Accountant to become a pivotal part of their thriving team. As you evolve in both the firm and your role, you will assume escalating responsibilities in a hands-on capacity, providing comprehensive services such as accounts, management accounts, VAT, bookkeeping, and planning to a diverse portfolio of key clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering accounts, management accounts, VAT, bookkeeping, and planning services to a varied client base.
- Preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Compiling corporate tax computations and returns.
- Offering bookkeeping and management accounting services.
- Assisting clients and staff with cloud accounting software.
- Ensuring meticulous maintenance and updating of accounting records for clients.
- Overseeing and preparing quarterly VAT returns.
Requirements
Accounts Senior/Senior Accountant - Sidcup
- Ideal candidates for this position will hold qualifications such as AAT, ACA, ACCA, or possess equivalent experience.
- A background in accountancy practice, with experience in small/medium/large independent firms or Top 50/Mid or Top Tier firms.
- Operating at the Accounts Semi Senior or Senior level, or equivalent, with a track record of delivering diverse accountancy practice services to clients ranging from sole traders and partnerships to limited companies.

Benefits
- £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
