By the end of these three days, there was a brilliantly multi-faceted set of themes and ideas, which formed the starting point for the rest of their mission. This mission is to give every staff member and volunteer the opportunity to play their part in shaping the strategy to do “more and better, together” so that they can double their impact by 2025. They deliver a vast array of services across Herts, Beds and Bucks that reach over 135,000 individuals annually.

The Role

This new role supports highly experienced project managers, external consultants and the Director to deliver multiple projects. The role will be expected to lead all routine CapEx across thier current estate alongside large-scale development activities overseen by our Development Company subsidiary Board of Directors. There is also a requirement for this role to support general market growth, acquiring new accommodation within a portfolio, which meets the needs of their operational Housing directorate.

The key activities will be

• Lead on the delivery of business objectives, Capital Projects, PPM and property acquisition.
• Positively engaging with customers and developing, growing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Delivering high-quality services and deliverables, ensuring services meet our customers' requirements. 
• Managing projects and/or programmes to deliver high-quality services and deliverables in accordance with the business procedures.
• With the support of our legal advisors, lead on the administration of contracts and contract negotiations on behalf of the Board of Directors, making recommendations to the Board for sign-off.
• Routinely lead on producing reports and KPI performance data to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors, actively seeking scrutiny and challenge to ensure all CapEx programmes are meeting the needs of beneficiaries and the wider community.
• In partnership with the Executive Leadership Team, take an active leadership role in identifying new business development opportunities and driving growth across the business unit activities.
• To effectively manage all external contractors and consultants to maximise performance, value for money and added value.
• To provide professional and innovative support in the development of the Estates Strategy
