- Based in Milnthorpe, South Lakeland, with easy access and transport links - north and south.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be able to work mainly unsupervised, working on new HGV build trailers and occasional repairs. You will also have a good knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics and solid work experience in the automotive industry.
- Working from mechanical assembly diagrams and circuit drawings.
- Installation and diagnostic of trailer electronic braking systems. Experience with electronic braking systems, particularly with brands like WABCO, Haldex, or other similar systems, would be highly beneficial.
- Carrying out pre MOT work on new trailers.
- Diagnosing, checking and setting mechanical systems.
- Assisting staff and clients with technical queries.
- Maintaining equipment and tools.
- Following checklists to ensure procedures are completed.
Payment/Benefits:
- · Full-time, permanent position, Monday-Friday, 8 am-4.45 pm with flexible additional hours.
- · Salary based on experience, starting at £31,200.00 to £33,200.00 per year depending on experience.
