Job description
Due to internal Promotion Major Recruitment have an opportunity for a Quality Coordinator to join our growing manufacturing client based in Cumbernauld.
In this role you will work to drive day-to-day quality standards are met working collaboratively with both the production and wider quality team.

- Location : Cumbernauld
Your Responsibilities:
- Follow Quality Systems, Test methods and Validation protocol
- To ensure all specifications of the product fall within measured standards and tolerances of requirements as outlined by the customer
- Carry out Positive Release Inspections
- Carry out Goods Inwards Inspection
- Downloading, Checking & Accepting customer specifications
- Inspection and Investigation support at all levels
- To set clear quality standards in line with the group strategy & customer’s expectations
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of site quality
- Act as a change agent promoting best practices and drive continuous Quality improvement throughout the site
- Responsible for the reporting of the Non Compliance system
- Responsible for the recording and distribution of the Quality KPIs
- Prepare and ensure efficient process to pass through audits from customers or 3rd parties
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working in a quality role within manufacturing
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
- Experience within lean manufacturing environment
- Excellent communicator with colleagues at all levels
- High attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload in a fast moving environment
