Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely and efficiently operate a company car or van for the purpose of transportation of goods and/or passengers as required.
2. Plan and organize delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to clients/customers.
3. Load and unload materials/products from the vehicle, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
4. Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a polite and professional demeanor when interacting with clients/customers.
5. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation regarding deliveries, ensuring accuracy and prompt submission.
6. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle, reporting any issues or requirements in a timely manner.
7. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
Qualifications:
1. Valid UK driving license with no more than 3 penalty points.
2. Proven experience as a Car/Van Driver, preferably within the Driving industry.
3. Excellent knowledge of Wakefield and surrounding areas, including local routes, landmarks, and traffic patterns.
4. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to efficiently plan and prioritize deliveries.
5. Physical fitness and stamina to handle repetitive loading/unloading tasks and prolonged periods of driving.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients/customers in a professional manner.
7. A positive attitude towards customer service, with a commitment to delivering a high-quality experience.
