Job description

They are actively seeking a permanent Operational Training Specialist.
As the Operational Training Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure that on-site production and mandatory training are completed in a timely manner and meet all compliance requirements. Your role involves aligning production and mandatory training requirements with business strategy, ensuring compliance on-site, OSI, BRC, customer requirements, and Food Safety requirements. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to statutory procedures and demands. Your duties include training the production workforce in mandatory courses, continuously improving these courses, and ensuring the accuracy and currency of production training documentation, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will also collaborate with subject matter experts to create new SOPs for new machines/processes, taking ownership of the production training function.

The ideal candidate will be CIPD and Train the Trainer qualified, possessing knowledge of food sector training. A manufacturing background is essential, along with competence in designing and delivering training and standard operating procedures. Experience in an operational or learning role, coupled with a strong working knowledge of MS Excel, is crucial. Excellent presentation skills and effective communication are prerequisites. As a strong team player, you should be flexible and capable of prioritizing tasks in a busy environment.
