MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a global manufacturing organisation as they add a Senior Data Engineer to their team in a role that will see you have real impact. The position will see you working on the company-wide data strategy and architecture while continuing to leverage value from the existing Business Intelligence Infrastructure.

The package:

• Salary £65,000 to £75,000 depending on experience

About the role:

• You'll be involved in data modelling and dashboard creation
• You'll bring your analytic skills to the fore in business-critical projects
• Define how Data is used within the company to drive business performance
• Design and implement ETL models
• Liaise with business stakeholders across all levels
• Take the lead in data engineering, maintenance and improvement

About you:

• Hands-on, experienced Data Engineer, Data Architect or Data Professional
• Solid skills in data visualisation (ideally Power BI)
• Good understanding of data flows, data modelling and ETL
• Experience with SQL or SSIS and an understanding of data warehousing/pipelines
• Experience with Azure Databricks & data factory would be advantageous
