Job description
What you will do in your working day
Key responsibilities: [will include but not be limited to:]
- Supporting the day-to-day delivery of an integrated marketing campaign across a range of channels, including pay per click (PPC) advertising, advertising and PR activity and partner marketing activity to progress against organisational objectives.
- Contribute to the development of marketing plans, the review and approval of media plans and creative assets, and the creation of ongoing reporting and evaluation decks, communicating and presenting findings and recommendations to campaign stakeholders.
- Working with agencies and in-house teams to develop ideas, create assets and draft and deliver content tailored to target audiences through our owned social media platforms.
- Analysing, reporting and evaluating advertising channel performance and website feedback and performance (using Google Analytics), generating actionable insights, suggestions and recommendations to improve future marketing delivery effectiveness.
- Creating, drafting, overseeing sign-off and publishing content to fca.org - working with people across the FCA to ensure the information is accurate.
- Work with the in-house team and agencies on digital development for FCA channels, including carrying out testing.
- Monitoring trends in marketing, digital and social media tools and industry activity, spotting best practice examples and how these could be applied to the FCA.
- Conducting research and generating insights on specialist campaign issues to inform marketing activity.

- Learn the necessary skills to enhance an organisation's digital marketing efforts, and prepare a business for the digital marketplace
- Develop knowledge, skills and behaviours aligned to the Multi-channel marketer apprenticeship Standard, which replaced the Digital Marketer standard in 2023, being able to apply them in context
Gain the following qualifications upon successful completion of the programme:
- Level 3 Multi-channel marketer Apprenticeship
- Principles of Coding (BCS KM1)
- Marketing Principles (BCS KM2)
- Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ)
Tools and technologies learned: Apprentices will learn to use Google Analytics, SurveyMonkey, WordPress, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, Canva, Powtoon, Moz, W3Schools, JDoodle and all the major social media networks.
