Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer at Pickup Systems in Burnley. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for handling the day-to-day tasks associated with designing and fabricating complex and functional bespoke vehicles and bodies. The role involves working with computer-aided design (CAD) software solid works and developing designs that are centred on the needs of different vehicles. The Mechanical Design Engineer works closely with other engineers to ensure that every aspect of the conversion is designed with precision. Qualifications Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Product Design skills Experience in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Experience in the automotive industry is a plus Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or related field Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering is a plusJob tags
