WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT JOB SUMMARY:

Warehouse Assistant required to join a very busy team, in the Ringwood area.  Our client are market leaders in what they do, and are showing consistent growth month on month, hence why they are now looking for an additional person to join the already established Warehouse team.

The Warehouse Assistant will have ideally worked in a similar environment and be comfortable with a variety of tasks within the warehouse / stores environment.  In addition, it is important that you are physically fit as you will be required to do heavy lifting, although there is a forklift for support.

WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Goods in – receiving stock as it comes into the warehouse
• Rearranging the warehouse as required, for better use of space
• Supporting the wider warehouse team with additional duties as required (training for specific tasks will be provided – opportunity to progress)
• Stocking shelves
• Working in dispatch, packing orders
• No forklift required initially – if and  when it becomes a requirement the company will support you in getting this.
• You will also be required to learn the tasks of the other departments to be able to help as needed, and work as part of a close knit team.

WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: 

• A hardworking attitude is essential – the warehouse team are very busy and need someone reliable to support them.
• Fast learner who is physically fit, in order to move materials / stock around the warehouse.
• Friendly, team player – you will be joining a team of circa 16 other people in the warehouse.
• Team fit is crucial to the continued success of the efficient warehouse / stores department.
