Do you have experience of working for and acting as a Principal Contractor as duty holder. Practical experience of producing procedures, risk assessments, method statements, construction phase plans, construction-based HS&E documentation. Then Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join our team.
The HS&E Advisor role offers agile working, permitting you to work from your home address or at a location that suits your needs and those of the business. You will however need to be within a reasonable commutable distance from the Salford office for training and meetings as and when required. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive salary circa of £38,000 per annum (Depending on experience) Plus Company Car & Excellent Benefits! The HS&E Advisor will provide support to the HS&E Manager in all areas relating health, safety, and environment and specifically, will have responsibility for Liberty Repairs, Maintenance & Construction, however, may work in other areas of the group as risk evolves. Responsibilities for this Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor will include: Your advice and support to Senior Managers, supervisors, operatives and colleagues will be instrumental to the improvement of the service the HSEQ department provides to all employees across Liberty. By ensuring that sound health, safety, and environmental practices are identified, document and fully aligned to the key business drivers whilst ensuring these are understood and complied with throughout the organisation, you will support and enable Liberty Group to exceed its statutory and contractual obligations in managing all HSEQ aspects across a diverse risk landscape. This role will also be responsible for supporting the maintenance and continual improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS) covering ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001, ensuring that our IMS is fully compliant against applicable standards and that it is fully embedded within the business unit. What we are looking for in our ideal Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor: Relevant experience in a full time HS&E role, full working knowledge of IOS45001, ISO14001. NEBOSH General Certificate/ Construction Certificate. Ability to deliver presentations, competent report writing, experience in issuing, following up and closing corrective actions. Knowledge and experience of operational activities within a domestic, social housing setting, refurbishment, roofing, general building & grounds maintenance and electrical work. Experience of working for and acting as a Principal Contractor as duty holder. Practical experience of producing procedures, risk assessments, method statements, construction phase plans, waste management plants, construction-based HS&E documentation.
