Job description
This position is based at the Manufacturing site in Oxfordshire. The HR Business Partner role is a key part of the manufacturing senior team working creating a high performing team, embedding change programmes, focused on providing a strong partnering and support offering to the manufacturing leadership team and their reports.
The role is a standalone HR generalist focused on partnering allocated members of the leadership team to support the development of management and leadership capability, drive a performance culture and enhancing associate engagement.
The role is generalist in nature embracing all areas of HR including upskilling manager capability, employee relations, union relations and talent management.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide both strategic and operational business partnering coaching and guidance to leaders at manufacturing senior leadership team level.
- Build a world class Packing site with senior leaders
- Lead and provide on-going HR support for key change projects and projects in the business area.
- Coordinate & implement the specific HR processes in the business unit within the scope of a high performing team, the organisational culture and structure.
- Provide expert knowledge to the local management regarding associate engagement initiatives, organisational structures and change projects.
- Provide knowledge / best practice to the local management in managing local labour relations (unions, safety reps, etc.). Work with local managers in coaching them around often complex cases around performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, absence etc.
- Build lean knowledge (known as Manufacturing Operating System). Actively lead in pillar activity eg Organisation Pillar. Feed into central projects at a global level as required.
- Provide guidance and coaching in talent management and succession planning for key roles at the plant to ensure talent development and career progression.
