Salary / Rate of pay: £35,000 per annual Plus £2-3K service charge

Platinum Recruitment is currently partnering with an elegant country house hotel in Hampshire to find a Head Chef who has a strong background in high-end cuisine to lead their brasserie.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about their work and excited about the potential of the site. This busy establishment is well-known for serving well-made British classics and you will be responsible for overseeing their gastro pub, running the kitchen, and ensuring food safety and cost control.

What's involved?

• As the Head Chef, your responsibilities will be to support and lead the other chefs through clear communication and delegation and identify any training needs. Take a proactive role in the team, identifying and resolving issues as well as sharing ideas for improvements. Your responsibilities will also include the ordering and control of food-related GPs, health and safety and people management of a small team, supported by the Executive Head Chef.
