An exciting opportunity has arisen for a  Community Nurse, Mental Health Social Worker  or Occupational Therapist to join our Clients Bognor and Chichester Assertive Outreach Team.

Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Nurse, Mental Health Social Worker or Occupational Therapist to join the Assertive Outreach Team. 

We welcome applications from enthusiastic, self-motivated, and recovery-focused practitioners who value multi-disciplinary team work. Experience in psychosocial interventions, family work and/or substance misuse would be advantageous.  

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team offering recovery-focused, intensive support to a caseload of people with complex mental health difficulties, primarily psychosis, who struggle to maintain engagement with community services. We are a supportive team that strive to build trusting and collaborative relationships with service users and their families, using a whole team approach.

This post offers a Golden Hello, or a Relocation package up to a maximum of £2000. - subject to terms and conditions.

Main duties of the job

We will require the highest of professional standards and knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and biopsychosocial interventions for the treatment of psychosis. Practical knowledge of the Mental Health Act would be desirable. We will focus on developing and utilising your mental health skills and embracing your core professional competences. Whilst, working within our team, you will participate in the planning of new services and developing links with rehabilitation services to initiate and develop new models of working.
