Job description

Position Overview:

The Production Operator will be trained as a Machine Operator responsible for working in a team environment on a production line to support the manufacture of our animal health and veterinary products.

Shift 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday to Friday

Starting wage £10.42 per hour increasing to £10.92 once trained with a further option to train on quality work which would attract an additional 50p per hour.

Role:

• Willing to learn and be trained to run various packing machines within a team environment and standalone environment.
• Work efficiently in a team on a variety of manufacturing tasks
• Ensure that raw materials are packed accurately into packaging and that the correct product batches are selected.
• Work consistently with speed and accuracy and meet production targets.
• Ability to follow written process instructions and complete batch documentation accurately.
• Operate and maintain in a clean condition production line equipment
• Maintain a clean work station and immediate work area
• Follow all Health and Safety standards associated with the work practices of the task being undertaken
• Carry out any other tasks as directed by the Production Team Cell Leaders
• Report any issues to the Production Cell Leaders

• Must be able to lift and move items within Health and Safety Regulations
• Good communication skills, fluent in English, reading and speaking.
• Good numerical skills
• Ability to work well on a team but be self-motivated and independent at times
