Job description

Our client is one of the leading design practices within the hotel and hospitality marketplace supplying architectural interior design solutions for both new build and refurbishment projects.

 

They are currently seeking an FF&E Specialist with proven range of experience within the hospitality sector. Based in South Hertfordshire within easy access of London, you would be working for hotel groups and individual clients throughout the UK & Europe.

 

Your responsibilities will include FF&E sourcing, technical drawings, sketching, rendering and putting together schemes in the format of mood and sample boards.

 

Skills and Experience needed from the FF&E Interior Designer:

• At least 6 years' relevant work experience
• Knowledge of fabric and upholstery, trends and suppliers
• Able to take part in site surveys 
• Adept at client presentations including various techniques such as CAD floor plans, elevations, digital renders as well as traditional mediums including, sample boards and sketching
• Understanding of M&E drawings
• Fully competent in AutoCAD and be able to produce a full range of construction packages
• A working knowledge of 3D Studio, Photoshop and SketchUp would be desirable

 

This will initially be a 12-month contract with the potential to become permanent. Salary on offer is between £35k to £40k (negotiable) and the company all work remotely on Fridays.
